About our Food & Music Festival in Wolcott, CT

Looking for things to do in CT for a day trip or destination vacation? CT is known for some amazing fairs and festivals but this event is something unique when it comes to great family fun with music, food, rides, games, shopping and a mobile tavern!
This event is called Food Truck Battles because it all started as a contest to see what food truck would get voted number one choice by YOU THE PEOPLE! In turn we wanted to give back to the local community so every year we create this event that donates back to several organizations in the way of internal fundraisers within the event as well as a percentage of the main event itself. To date CT Food Truck Battles festival has donated over $150,000 in cash, items and services to local non profits and food banks! This year we are proud to be helping the local Veterans, Food Pantry, BAW Organization and the G.I. Club! So come and spend the day watching our amazing line up of live entertainment on the main stage featuring Rock, Country and Reggae Bands from New England! We also have some of the best comedians in the North East hosting events as well as doing several shows throughout the day.

How can you have all these amazing food trucks at a CT Festival and not have some fun with eating the food? Come and experience some of the funniest moments on our Food Battles Stage as Comedians Dave Reilly and AJ Man from 99 Rock WPLR encourage some very messy behavior on stage! We have kids and adult categories that unfold throughout the day during the band breaks so that there is always something fun going on our stage!
Park like setting in a beautiful grassy field!
Lots of festivals in CT will take place in a crappy ghost mall parking lot with no consideration for the VIBE that you want to be in for the ultimate great day. We we got you! We have over 3 acres of open grass field surrounded by beautiful woods and a stream. We have a giant pavilion and several giant tents to keep you out of the sun or any passing showers that may pop up. We also have LOTS of tables and chairs but we encourage you to bring your favorite comfy folding chairs or a blanket so you and your family/friends can hang out all day while enjoying a delicious island cocktail from the Island Bar or beer & wine from the mobile Irish Pub!
